The Rupert Renaissance Initiative was established in 1998 by
Charlie Greason and other citizens to compliemnt the city
government in improving Rupert's appearance, business enviroment,
and quality of life. In three years, imrpovements in several areas
were achieved, including work on renovating the Wilson Theatre,
landscaping neglected to public areas, and listing the Rupert Square
and adjacent buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.
