Elk Crucial Winter Range
The lands in this area on both sides of
Highway 93 are closed to off-road vehicles
between December 1 and April 30 each year.
When weakened by winter conditions, the
elk can suffer harmful effects from stress
if disturbed by off-road traffic. Please
help protect these magnificent animals.
