developed campsites. In addition, dispersed camping is
available in most areas within the Ashton-Island Park
Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest.

Scenic Attractions
During the early days, Island Park was just a stopover on the
way to Yellostone National Park. Today, Island Park is a four
season recreation destination offering a wide variety of outdoor
recreation activities.
