Island Park has more than 500 Forest Service and State
developed campsites. In addition, dispersed camping is
available in most areas within the Ashton-Island Park
Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest.

Scenic Attractions

During the early days, Island Park was just a stopover on the
way to Yellostone National Park. Today, Island Park is a four
season recreation destination offering a wide variety of outdoor
recreation activities.

3. Upper & Lower Mesa Falls
4. Warm River Springs

Day Hikes
Island Park has more than 80 miles of hiking trails
traversing a variety of terrain including streams sides,
dense forests, and high alpine meadows.
